The numbers are printed on plastic cubes which are half
red / half blue. They are arranged within a freestanding
wooden frame. By turning you can change the colour of
any number from blue to red. The cubes are on wooden
rods which can easily be removed.

The abacus provides an excellent way to highlight
patterns, such as vertically counting in 5s or 10s, or
demonstrating the 9 times table. Hooks are included for
different possibilities.
